This genuine 8580R5 was pulled from a working C=64, where it was intended to be plopped into one of them fancy, modern, SID-based sound cards. Turns out, though, I just don’t want to have yet another sound card sitting around! So I yanked the chip… out of the socket…

Of course, this SID is recently tested and in working condition, ready for whatever purpose you enslave it to. Shall I keep going?
The SID is, in my opinion, the absolute best, most high-quality, amazing sounding “retro” sound chip in the world. You’d be a fool not to own one. Or two! Or a
whole truckload full!
But I’m selling this one anyway, because the fact that I’m a fool apparently hasn’t set in yet. (Just wait.)
